Greenway Equipment Acquires Producers Tractor Company

Weiner, AR        Greenway Equipment, Inc., an Arkansas John Deere dealer based in Weiner, has acquired Producers Tractor Company, Inc. of Helena.  The acquisition was effective 12/07/09.  John Deere dealerships in Helena, Forrest City, Brinkley, Marianna, Marvell, and Elaine are now operating as Greenway Equipment. 

As a result of the acquisition, customers of the former Producers’ locations can expect an increased focus on parts availability and product support for all products.  Additionally, Greenway is an industry leader in the technology field.  “We now have 17 Greenway locations in Arkansas and we believe our size allows us to lower risks and increase profits for our customers,” said Marshall Stewart, President of Greenway Equipment.  “We have more technicians, more parts, and a highly trained Precision Ag staff to ensure that we can deliver on this promise to our customers.”

Greenway Equipment, Inc. has additional Arkansas locations in Augusta, Blytheville, Des Arc, Earle, Joiner, Jonesboro, Monette, Newport, Walnut Ridge, and Wynne.  Greenway also has operations in Missouri at Dexter, Poplar Bluff, Malden, Sikeston, and Charleston.   Greenway is a full-service John Deere dealer, offering large ag equipment, as well as small ag equipment, commercial and consumer equipment, light construction equipment and  Stihl handheld products.
